Will Smith

Willard Smith was born September 25, 1968 in Philadelphia.

Smith's family was not rich, in addition to his family grew three more children.

Will was a good student and after graduation was offered a scholarship from MIT, but abandoned his studies in favor of music. With 12 years he has performed a rap at various parties and just one of them met with Jeff Townes, with whom they formed a hip-hop duo DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince, and later received a "Grammy" for best performance of rap. In the name of the "Prince" it appears not accidental - because in high school called Will, because, thanks to his charisma and communication skills, he was able to get out of any trouble.

Since 1990, Smith starred in the popular television series The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

In 1996, Will was invited to play in the movie "Independence Day" and a year later he played a major role in the film "Men in Black".

Smith was offered the lead role in "The Matrix," but he refused to take part in the filming of a cowboy comedy "Wild Wild West." The film flopped, but the soundtrack to it, written by Smith, led the top of the US charts.

Will Smith was twice nominated for "Oscar" - Muhammad Ali for his role in the movie "Ali" and for his role in the movie "The Pursuit of Happyness".

He is married to actress Jada Pinkett, they have three children.
