Scarlett Johansson was born in New York on November 22, 1984. Shortly after the birth of her daughter her parents divorced, and Scarlett had to live in two cities - New York and Los Angeles. Since childhood, she attended an acting school in New York, however, she began a career in Los Angeles.

The film "North" was the film debut of the young Johansson. Several following her roles were not so noticeable, but in 1996, played his first starring role in "Manny & Lo," she was even nominated for the Independent Spirit Awards as the best performer of female roles.
