Anna Kendrick

Anna Kendrick was born ninth of August, 1985 in Portland, Oregon, the son of an accountant and a teacher of history. She has an older brother - actor Michael Cooke Kendrick.

For the first time, Anna and Michael were on the set of another 10 years of age. Then the parents allowed the children to visit several plays in New York. And in 1998, Anna first appeared on stage on Broadway. And for the very first role she was nominated for the prize Tony, that was for the young actress a huge achievement. Later Kendrick appeared in many productions, including musicals.

In 2003, Anna was expecting first film role - it was the film "Camp." However, the next film role went to Kendrick only in 2007. Then she played in the comedy "granite science".

In 2008, the year's finest hour came Anna - she tasted fame thanks to the film "Twilight." She, along with her character Jessica "migrated" to other parts "vampire saga".

After "Twilight" Anna starred in the thriller "Somewhere." This was followed by the comedy "The Marc Pease Experience". But they have gone relatively unnoticed - at least in comparison with the next project where Anna attended. They became the drama "Up in the Air" - a picture of George Clooney and Vera Farmiga in the lead roles, released in 2009. Anna has played a role of the second plan, but it is so good that it was nominated for "Oscar" and "Golden Globe".

After such a serious role young Miss Kendrick was perceived as a young and talented actress, and not just as a star of youth comedies. For example, she was invited to the drama "I have cancer". However, it is not an easy genre left - in August 2010 in the Russian box office has started a comedy picture "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World".

Anna has not yet married, in 2009, she met with the British director and screenwriter Edgar Wright.
